Homemade Soft Rolls

Soft, fluffy, and brushed with melted butter- is there anything better than a basket full of warm homemade soft rolls.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cup milk, warm
  • 11/2 tbsp yeast
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted to brush the tops of dinner rolls

DIRECTIONS

In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, salt, melted butter, and yeast. Whisk everything together and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Pour the liquids into a mixing bowl, and add the flour in small portions until the dough is no longer sticky.

You will need about 4 cups of flour, knead the dough with the dough hook in stand mixture for 2 minutes or knead by hands for 10 minutes.

Then place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it with plastic, and let rise for about 2 hours in a warm place. When the dough rises remove it from the bowl and cut in 12 even pieces, shape each piece into a round shape and place them on an oiled baking sheet next to each other.
