Cook yummy beef brisket to tender perfection.
- 1 1/2 lb beef brisket
- 1 cup white onion, chopped
- 1 cup carrot, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 bulb of garlic
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg, grated
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 1/2 L hot water
- Salt, Pepper TT
Preheat the oven to 300˚F.
Start by seasoning the meat well. Place in to a little of olive oil and brown on all sides.
Make a tasty broth to flavor the meat into the dish, add chopped onions, carrots, celery, garlic, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Pour in hot water, bring to the boil and cover tightly, transfer the dish to the oven and cook for 3 hours.
Serve this beef brisket with red wine sauce and any kind of potato.
